Its been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united Dragon and Viking. While Astrid, Snoutlout, and the rest of the gang are challenging each other in dragon races (new fav sport). Hiccup and Toothless began a new journey through the skies, unmapped island, and discovering a new world. their discovery's leading to a secret ice cave that home for dragons and mysterious dragon rider.
For a starter, HTTYD 2 has a very mature and rich story filled with emotional and dramatic depth. setting of this movies is in Viking era, full of action. The character and voice actors are awesome. Hiccup matured and have more active role. the new character such as Valka, eret, draco are spicy to its story (i dont like eret 😁). Valka is kind of stong woman, warrior, veteran and actually Hiccup's mother.
Background of the movie is so great, i am speechless when they are riding their dragon and fly high. the layout, environment, ocean, all of them are impressive. that bring me to a fantasy world.
There are many positive value and moral that we can pick, also good role models give us goosebump.
The movie is epic, touching, and so beautiful i am crying when Viking head/Hiccup's dad dead, his dad and mom just met, but they soon separated. This one make it a sad ending for me, i still can't accept why his dad dead with just one shot from Toothless.
and here it is Toothless being so cute and all. but hey, at least in here, he looks manly and when gaga macho when challenging draco and dragon king LOL
